Paragliding in Olympos
This is a new place to do paragliding, ıt takes 25 minutes to get to take off spot which reaches from 1600 feet! Flight duration is about 40 minutes over Olympos beach, it's ruins, Porto Ceveviz bay and Kara Oz beach and landing is on adrasan beach. From there it takes 25 minutes to drive back to Olympos treehouses. The pilots are well experienced from Öludeniz mountain and they have completed over 5000 flights so far in past 10 years.
Sea kayaking Sunken city Kekova
Just a short drive to the East of Kas, is the Sunken City at Kekova Island. Kekova Island's northern shore is the home to the fascinating remains of the ancient settlement of Simena, or the so called Sunken City which literally slid over to the Mediterranean by a series of earthquakes 2000 years ago. Ruined walls, stairs, foreheads, mosaics and the outline of the city's jetty are still clearly visible. Swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving are strictly prohibited in this area, but we do get a close-up look on our sea kayaks. Sea kayaks are easy to handle, and they get us into narrow and shallow sections of the ruins which are off limits to larger vessels. The combination of the fun of sea kayaking & a unique site. A fantastic day out.
Rate is 20 Euro per person, it runs from April until November.
